who we are

While learning new life skills, making friends and having fun, every Scout has their eye on the ultimate goal, that of Eagle Scout.  And, it's not an easy one, but one that's long and challenging.  In fact, on average, only 5% of all Scouts will ever achieve it. 

With that, Troop 337 is very proud to have had over 120 Scouts earn Scouting's highest rank over the past 60 years -  with 41 Scouts having reached this milestone since 2011.  At Troop 337, making Eagle is not a requirement, but our scouts have come to expect it for themselves and each other.

Troop 337 is part of the Boy Scouts of America and has been helping young men from ages 11 - 18 grow, have fun and become responsible young men since 1962. We  offer the opportunity to learn new skills, experience unique opportunities, develop leadership abilities and make friendships that will last rest of their lives.

Troop 337 enjoys a fantastic adult leadership team that helps coordinate, provide guidance, advice and safety but leaves the day-to-day running of the troop to the Scouts.  All  weekly meetings, trips and events are planned and lead by our active Scouts.  There is only one way to learn to be a leader - to actually lead.
